Terms and Conditions

By completing your registration for Forum Acusticum 2026 (FA26), you (the “Participant”) acknowledge the Terms and Conditions herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not complete the registration process. Your submission serves as official confirmation of your agreement.

Payment of registration fees

  • All registration fees listed on the website are inclusive of 20% VAT.
  • The final amount due is determined by the selected registration category and the date of payment.
  • Upon your registration, a confirmation email will be sent automatically to you. Participants are advised to have a copy of their registration confirmation and payment slip when going to the registration desk at the event in case they are requested to show proof of payment upon their arrival.
  • The specific registration conditions are listed on the conference website.
  • The registration service is provided by a third-party service, conforg.fr.

Payment Terms

  • For events with registration on a first come first served basis, FA26 must receive the payments for the registration fees as detailed on the webpage before the registration can be confirmed. Admittance to the conference cannot be permitted without prior receipt of payment or a valid proof of payment.
  • Late registrations can also be paid onsite. Such payments are subject to an additional late registration fee, details are specified on the website.
  • Credit card payments will be processed via a secure online payment module (Nexi/nets.eu) included in the registration form. Registration fees will be debited in EUR.

Cancellation of registration by Participant

  • Cancellation of registration must be submitted via email to registration2026@forum-acusticum.org and is valid only with acknowledgement of receipt by the FA26 conference office.
  • Cancellation fees:
    • When cancelling after June 16th, 2026: the cancellation fee is 100% of the initial registration fee
    • When cancelling before June 15th, 2026: you will be refunded 50% of the initial registration fee

Service as an Invited Speaker

If you agree to speak at FA26, we may share your contact and biographical information with conference attendees. We may also request a photograph and post on the website information such as your name, employer, physical work address, work email address, as well as a link to your company website and/or professional LinkedIn page available to the public. This is so that visitors to the website, including event attendees and speakers, can contact you with questions and requests for more information, and to provide feedback if needed. Additionally, speakers may be asked to complete a release agreement or copyright form prior to their presentation. 

Usage of photographic, audio, and video material

Photos, audio and/or video recordings may be made during the conference. These recordings may be used for documentation and PR purposes and may be published on the internet, on the websites of the University of Music and Performing Arts, on social media(Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and in print media.

The FA26 website contains links to third party websites or resources. Their inclusion does not imply any endorsement or approval by FA26, and these are provided for your information and convenience only. FA26 accepts no responsibility of liability in respect thereof.
