Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, the Austrian Acoustics Association (AAA-OeGA), and the European Acoustics Association (EAA), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Forum Acusticum 2026, which will take place in Graz, Austria, from September 8 to 12, 2026.

Forum Acusticum is the annual European conference on acoustics and an important meeting point for researchers, engineers, industry representatives, and professionals from across the acoustics community. The conference provides a dynamic platform for presenting new research, exchanging ideas, and fostering international collaboration.

The conference programme includes plenary lectures, technical sessions, and poster presentations chaired by a technical committee covering the full spectrum of acoustics: from architectural and environmental acoustics to audio and electroacoustics, psychoacoustics, speech and hearing sciences, and emerging interdisciplinary topics. Exhibitions, social events, and networking opportunities will further promote exchange between academia and industry.

Companies and organizations working in acoustics and related technologies are warmly invited to participate as sponsors and/or exhibitors. Forum Acusticum 2026 offers an excellent opportunity to showcase innovative products and services to an international audience and to connect with experts and collaborators within the acoustics community.

An EAA Summer School will take place shortly before the conference, from September 5 to 7, 2026, providing students and early-career researchers with an opportunity to explore emerging topics and engage with leading experts.

The conference will be hosted at Messecongress Graz, a modern venue located in the heart of the city, and will be organized according to the principles of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.

Graz, the capital of the Austrian province of Styria, offers an inspiring environment for the acoustics community. With its UNESCO-listed historic center, vibrant cultural life, and strong academic landscape, the city provides an excellent setting for scientific exchange.

We warmly invite you to contribute to the scientific programme and to join us in Graz for an inspiring week of research presentations, discussions, and networking.

We look forward to welcoming you to Forum Acusticum 2026 in Graz!

B_Microflown
About this company
Microflown Technologies develops innovative acoustic measurement solutions based on its proprietary MEMS particle velocity sensors. Its systems support sound localization, acoustic imaging, noise source identification, troubleshooting, and quality control across automotive, aerospace, industrial, and research applications. This enables precise, efficient vibro-acoustic testing in laboratories and real-world environments worldwide for engineering teams.
B_Odeon
About this company
The ODEON software is used for simulation and measurements of room acoustics, for a broad range of indoor and outdoor cases. Results are provided as tables, illustrations, or audio files. Predictions are based on a given 3D model and materials (surface properties), which can also be user-calculated inside ODEON.
